Hunter grew up with the guidance of his grandfather, learning early to take a hands-on approach in life. He has since carried this mindset with him in his career as a cardiothoracic physician assistant. He takes pride in being able to provide his patients with new knowledge of their conditions and ways to live heart healthy. He also still enjoys working with his hands, now assisting with surgical procedures that help patients quickly achieve improved health and quality of life. In the end, his goal is to work with patients before a procedure is needed for preventative care as well as during and after a procedure to see them through to better health.
