Dr. Kneller was interested in medicine and medical science at a very young age. Initially he studied mechanical engineering with the intent of working within the health care industry. As a graduate student in bioengineering he discovered that he also wanted to be the person providing patient care. So, he changed direction and entered medical school. There he studied internal medicine followed by cardiovascular disease and clinic cardiac electrophysiology.
Area of Care
Dr. Kneller completed his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Walla Walla University in College Place, Washington then went on to the University of Pittsburgh where he attained his Masters Degree in Bio-engineering. He received his PhD in Pharmacology, a degree in medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at McGill University in Montreal, QC, Canada.
He completed Fellowships in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.
He is a Fellow with the Heart Rhythm Society (FHRS) and a Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS).
