Michael Tvedt has been employed in the restaurant industry for almost 40 years. For the last 17, Mr. Tvedt has been a General Manager for Anthony’s Restaurants, a family of waterfront seafood restaurants in the Pacific Northwest. In 2004 he was given the opportunity to move to the Tri-cities and start a new restaurant located on the Columbia River. He and his wife, Michelle, moved to Richland, where they have raised and homeschooled their two beautiful daughters. Their third daughter lives in the Puget Sound area.
In addition to the Kadlec Regional Hospital Foundation board, Mr. Tvedt has been a member of the Richland Riverside Rotary since 2005. He is also a member of Bethel Church and oversees the churches ministry to Haiti. This has led to joing the board of a ministry called Haitian Christian Missions. The organization works to improve the living conditions of the Haitian people.
When not working or serving the community, Mr. Tvedt spends his time with his family and two golden retrievers. Walking along the Columbia River with his dogs and one of his daughters is the highlight of his day.
