Richard Snitily

Richard Snitily is a native of Wenatchee, WA. Mr. Snitily received his Bachelor’s degree from Seattle University and his Doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic. He opened his Chiropractic practice in Bremerton, Washington in 1975. He soon realized that the sunny side of the state was more to his liking and moved his practice to Richland in 1978. Interacting with other health care professionals in the Tri Cities for so many years, he has a deep appreciation for the level of care in the community, especially Kadlec Health Care Systems.

Soon after arriving in Richland, the Snitilys became members of Christ the King Church. Mr. Snitily has served on the parish council and numerous school and Sausage Fest committees. His two children attended the parish school and his wife, Mary, has served as teacher and principal.

After retirement, Mr. Snitily enrolled in viticulture and enology classes at WSU Tri-Cities to deepen his knowledge of the local wine industry. He continues to enjoy studying the development of vineyards and the impact of the industry on the Tri-Cities culture and economy.

Mr. Snitily is also a past board member and president of Meadow Springs Golf and Country Club. Since his retirement, golf has been the perfect avocation. When the weather permits, he can be found on the golf course several days a week.

With both grown children now living in Portland, Mr. Snitily and his wife, Mary spend time at the Oregon Coast whenever possible surrounded by family including six grandchildren.
