Since its inception, the Radiothon has raised funds for the Don & Lori Watts Pediatric Center, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Expansion, and many Pediatric programs and services. This event is widely broadcast with major listenership being in Benton, Franklin and Walla Walla counties as well as cities up the valley between Tri-Cities and Yakima, north to Othello and Moses Lake and south to Hermiston. The Radiothon is broadcast on five additional stations during the drive-time hours. These are the Tri-Cities area number one stations for both female and male audiences, ages 25-54.
The 7th annual Kadlec 4 Kids-a-thon (Radiothon) began bright and early on Thursday 10/23 at 6am and continued through Friday 10/24 at 6pm. Radio Tri-cities broadcasted live for 36 hours on 94.9 The Wolf to raise funds in support of Pediatric programs and services at Kadlec.
During that time, countless donors of all ages came forward with gifts of all sizes! Each and every person made a difference, from the child who donated his tooth fairy money to the proud grandparents and everyone in between. DJ’s Adam and Kendra kept the fundraising going right through the full 36 hours, which led to a grand total of $38,001.63 raised! All in all, more than $467,000 has been raised as a result of this ongoing event!
Thank you to everyone who donated and participated! Special thanks to Radio Tri-Cities, Ranch & Home, Bouten Construction, HAPO Community Credit Union, Garret Electric, and Apollo!
Thank you to our wonderful and dedicated Sponsors! The success of this event would not be possible without your support and commitment.
