did not feel rushed during my check-up. the doctor takes the time necessary to perform a thorough check.

I always feel he has my best interest at heart. I got to participate with a student intern at this meeting. It was a good experience. My wife also uses this provider and thinks he and his staff are great.

great experience

I almost always have to wait longer than 15 minutes but I never mind the wait as I know Dr. Grothaus will always take the same time & care necessary with each of his patients including myself. He is always worth waiting for.

He's the best!

Was very impreses with the doctor...

good care

My appointment with Dr. Grothaus went very well - I am very confident in him being my doctor. The reason I gave an "8" for satisfaction on this visit is because I had to wait for 40 minutes before the nurse got me from the waiting room, and then after she did the things she needed to do (weight, height, blood pressure, etc.) it was another 15 minutes before I saw the doctor. That is the only negative aspect about this visit - the amount of time spent waiting.

Dr. Grothaus explained pros and cons of getting a Cortisone shot and did not sway my decision one way or another. Been a month. Arm/elbow definitely doing better.

I am so glad and thankful that my doctor is mr. Grothaus

My appointment was for 8:40 a.m. and didn't see the doctor until 9:30 -- only after I left the exam room to reschedule the appointment. This is unacceptable. I'm not sure how you get 50 minutes behind that early in the morning, but patients should be informed when there's that big of a delay.

Doctor very welcoming and knowledgeable.

I am a new patient, so we are still learning about each other. I am very pleased with the service so far.

Dr. Grothaus and staff have been one of the best primary care doctors that I have had in my life (I am 62 years old). They always take good care of me and make sure that they answer all of my needs. I am glad that I chose him!

he was caring, considerate and respectful to everything I had to say.

Excellent experience !

My husband and I both started going to this provider a few years ago and like him and his staff so much that we have recommended him to our kids that have moved to the area and now they all go to him and are very pleased with the service he provides

All good

Dr. Groathaus has been an excellent doctor. As a matter of fact, the BEST I have ever had. I was put off at first by how young he was but he quickly, over several visits, earned my complete trust.

great experience so far.

the clinic was busy the day I visited and although I understand the stress of trying to see everyone during a busy day, I felt my provider gave me a diagnosis within hearing three of my symptoms. I attempted to explain why I had concerns for the authenticity of said diagnosis - Dr seemed patronizing, in a hurry, and looking for any reason to move on to the next patient.I have been in constant pain from my abdomen for three months and have been to the ER twice. I am in between pcp's (Dr G being my new one in July) and was only able to get an ER follow up appointment after being rejected once and then having to call back and speak to a manager. Dr G immediately assumed it was marijuana related and did not test my pancreas or stool after saying he had a hunch it revolves around those.I quit marijuana for a week on his request and have had no relief from pain. Rather than ruling out every other option first, this Dr had me quit the only thing relieving my pain because he deemed it purely psychological and comparable to opioid use (?!) Neither the pain meds or nausea pills they'd previously suggested had any effect. An issue I constantly tried to remind this doctor of. I found myself being so spoken over to the point where I politely stopped speaking until he finally found an excuse to get out of the room and shuffle me out. I've been told my multiple doctors they cannot figure out the pain besides harsh side effects to my ovarian cysts. yet no one I've seen in kadlec has offered valid and efficient relief. I was hoping finally getting to see someone not in ER was going to help eliminate even some of the 8/10 pain I continue to tell them of.

This doctor is the first I've had in decades that listens to me and that I fully trust. I have a bad back and decided I couldn't take the pain any longer and asked him for help. He had x-rays done there that day and scheduled an mri asap and notified me through MyKchart about the results the next day.

Dr. Grothaus is very knowledgeable, caring and personable.

Dr. Grothaus is an excellent physician and clearly cares about his patients. He has a great bedside manner and I hope he never leaves the Tri Cities.

Dr Grothaus recommended I see a cardiologist & asked which one I would like a referral to. Dr Farrar came recommended, so we selected him. Dr Grothaus also put me on CIPRO antibiotic for a bladder infection.

Bad: Appt. was for 9 AM did not see doctor until 10 AM Good: Doctor and staff were courteous and friendly and well informed. Doctor also recognized an issue I described and ordered appropriate tests which have led to follow up care I need.

This was my first visit with Dr. Grothaus. The reason marked no on not getting in soon enough, was because due to the lack of doctors in our area, Dr. Grothaus didn't have an opening for me being a new patient until 5 months after my initial call. He was worth the wait, I appreciated his thoroughness, understanding, compassion and felt very comfortable talking about my health concerns with him.

All Good

he was very thorough, personable, and knowledgeable. it was my first time to see him and I am very pleased with his care

love this office!!!

it was a very good visit.

had to wait over an hour to see the Dr.

the service i received at my provider was excellent and efficient. the only bad experience i had and it was not their fault was they did not have my immunization records from Oregon. other than that i enjoy my experiences at this provider

seems concerned about my health and care by the team of doctors referred to. Most doctors need to practice more of the standards demonstrated by Dr Grothaus

Dr. G. was great! I felt like he really cared about me. I would like to know if he could be my primary care provider, if possible.

this team is one of the best I have ever had in me many yrs of medical history.

All good. Kadlec has good providers.

This was my first visit to this office after my physician at the Richland Primary Care left the area.

very caring and respectful provider.

I was seen on a semiemergent basis for a dislocated shoulder. My regular provider was not in the office-BUT they worked me in, which I deeply appreciated. It was absolutely worth the wait and I have NO complaints.

I can say the provider and staff were very professional, helpful, courteous and respectful and made me feel comfortable.

every experience is a great one and it is something when a person actually looks forward to going to the doctors office

Epic services. the team ROCKS.

The results of an MRI on the condition of the right knee were given to us over the phone by a staff member. This conversation was short and concise, but afterwards we had questions about what the technical terms meant. This was well explained in a follow-up visit with the doctor.

Dr provided same day appointment for hernia check. Was competent in confirming the problem and provided necessary referrals. Answered all my questions and made me comfortable with the process to be followed.

Dr. Grothaus is an excellent doctor that has always gone the extra mile for me & my family's care. I have some Autoimmune diseases that are being treated by specialists by he is always available for me & is happy to converse with my other providers to come up with the proper plan for me. We may have a longer wait time in the office to see him but he is worth the wait & his patients know they will get the same quality time & care at their apt.

Dr. Groathaus has been awesome. The best doctor I've had yet and currently I'm 52 years old.

Absolutely the BEST bedside manner and information sharing in a way I could understand.

very concerned and thorough about the importance of taking care of the problem right away. provided an anti-biotic prescription for ulcerated toe and sent me downstairs for right foot x-ray

Dr G is a great physician.

it was a great visit from all involved, everyone was very polite and respectful.

Dr. Reuben Grothaus is the best physician either I [...] or my mother [...] has ever seen as patients. He takes our concerns seriously, is sensitive to our needs and issues, and always leaves us feeling we have just enjoyed the professional attention of a trusted friend. Thank you for giving us access to his highly qualified care.

Dr. Grothaus is very thorough, smart, personable, kind and diligent!

he is a great doctor!! and I love his ma's

Dr. Grothaus is great. Extremely knowledgeable and patient.

best drs office in45 yrs

Dr. Grothaus is the absolute best provider I've ever had, listens well and explains everything in detail when needed. However every time I check in [...] the receptionist always has an extreme rude behavior and has comments that she needs to keep to herself. The other foa is sweet and extremely helpful, [...] but she is always awesome. Having [...] as the receptionist is what's stopped me from recommending people. [...] She DOESN'T follow Provident/Kadlec's mission.

I waited over an hour from my apt time in the exam room before the doctor came into to see me. I was very sick and after waiting so long sitting in the chair my back became stiff, and started hurting and is still hurting!

Always a caring and intentive person to work with. I always enjoy seeing him

Dr. Grothaus is a fine young doctor. I appreciated his attention to my needs.

Always a good experience with Dr. G.

The wait time between when the MA had finished his/her questions and when I see my provider is more than 45 minutes. When my two children have their annual wellness check, we are waiting in the exam room for 45-60 minutes.

This was my initial visit. I am changing from a previous Doctor. My only complaint is the LONG wait time for my initial appointment...3 months I believe. Then I had to cancel due to work and had to wait another 3 months to see him.

excellent care, couldn't be happier.

I appreciate the care that I receive

I am very happy Dr. Grothaus is my physician.

Both Reuben and his MA are excellent. I would recommend them to anyone

Dr. Grothaus is amazing! the most caring care provider I've met in a while. His listens to you and answers any questions or concerns you may have. love that fact that he doesn't rush you through your visit like other providers I've met in the past, that's what I was amazed and mostly happy about! [...]

a little behind schedule

Dr was rated very high and I can see why. I've already recommended him.

Had a great visit. Dr. Grothaus is a great provider.

I've seen Dr Grothaus twice now. seems to really care and is easy to talk to. very nice down to earth doctor.

I am extremely pleased with Dr. Grothaus, he is very thorough. i feel confident that if I had an urgent condition I would receive excellent care.

Dr. Grothaus is "awesome".

[...] this is the best Doctor and healthcare team I've ever encountered and I would not change providers barring a physical move out of state.

[...] Dr Grothaus is fantastic! He listens and provides care accordingly. This is particularly important being a man. He takes the time to understand my care needs.

He's great!

Top notch Primary Care physician

He was sensitive about the delicate/embarrassing condition and used appropriate humor. He was very good at putting me at ease.

Dr. G. Always a pleasure.

Doctor made it very clear I must get my cholesterol down if I don't want to have a stroke. He let me know three other thin patients have suffered strokes from not dealing with their high cholesterol. The point has been driven home.

A friend [...] drove me as I had sinus/ear pain and some vertigo. She witnessed and agrees with my assessment of situation. Care Provider was being shadowed my med student. Appt immediately went into an awkward one as after handshake, provider stared at 2 60-ish women and commented upon their physical appearance, asking if we were "related" , commenting on out "round...uh...face", short haircuts, and glasses (hers blue, mine red?!?)...he seemed to be implying something in an odd, uncomfortable way. He then told me to "hop up on" a pediatric style exam table which was above my waist. He offered me a wheelie step-stool to "hop up"and kept moving it around with his foot as he invited me to "hop up"...I declined as his movement of stool was making vertigo worse. I stood as he listened to my heart and lungs. He seemed to be showing off for student, we were not sure since this was first meeting. On the plus side, he seemed to know what he was talking about re medication, explaining it to student, then me. As we left, he made an under breath comment we could not quite hear but turned to see the look on his face, which was not a nice expression. I have no idea if our uneasiness was from some bias the care provider held or if he is alwasy that way, or if he was just late for lunch. Whatever it was, Dr R and myself were left with the feeling of having been ridiculed. We were friendly but he seemed upset with me/us from the handshake.
