Dr. Schwartz has been an otolaryngologist practicing in Richland since 1997. His goal is to develop collaborative and supportive relationships with each of his patients.
As an advocate for larger service, Dr. Schwartz volunteers with the Central Washington Cleft Palate Team and serves on the advisory board for the Columbia Basin College Surgical Technologist Program.
Dr. Schwartz has had a lifelong interested in medicine and medical science. Prior to his career as a physician, he was a technician in the Laboratory of Molecular Pharmacology at the National Cancer Institute and had numerous publications on which he is an author.
Dr. Schwartz graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor's of Science Degree. He then attended Georgetown University where he received a Master's Degree in Physiology and his Medical Degree.
Dr. Schwartz was on active duty in the US Army from 1988 - 1997 and completed his internship and residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. He was the Post Surgeon at the Yakima Firing Center and was a staff otolaryngologist at Ft. Bragg, NC before leaving the military.
