The Gift of Important Care
Each person who comes to Kadlec for care has a unique situation and diagnosis. Our physicians, nurses and staff provide individualized care, using state-of-the-art equipment and evidence-based medicine. At Kadlec Foundation, we work to support that care and we enlist compassionate and generous donors to join us in these efforts.
Nationally, statistics show one in every two people will experience cancer in their lifetime. That means in some way or another, cancer touches all of us. That's why Kadlec Foundation finds it so important to support cancer care at Kadlec. Your donations help us invest in the resources to support patients and families when faced with a cancer diagnosis. Kadlec Foundation also supports oncology nursing education so that we can continue offering the most advanced care.
When someone needs cardiac care, minutes matter. Kadlec Regional Medical Center provides the highest level of cardiac care in our region. From our cardiac surgery program, including the region's only open-heart surgery services, to our comprehensive cardiac rehabilitation program, Kadlec is devoted to providing excellent patient care and safety through treatment, diagnosis, education and prevention. Donations help secure leading edge equipment.
The Beacon Award-winning Intensive Care Unit at Kadlec cares for patients who are recovering from major surgery, a life-threatening incident such as a heart attack or respiratory failure, or who are unstable and needing advanced monitoring and intensive treatment. The generosity of Kadlec Foundation donors supports education, equipment and programs for this important unit.
When you or a loved one needs emergency care, you want to know that your hospital is standing ready with the best equipment, skilled physicians, nurses and other health care providers. Donations to Kadlec Foundation support the medical center's equipment and program needs in this important department.
The goal of Kadlec's rehabilitation and therapy services is to improve the quality of life of each patient by helping them return to the highest level of independence possible within their home, jobs and in the community. Kadlec Foundation donors touch the lives of patients of all ages by funding important specialized therapy equipment, such as the Bioness Wireless System, which helps patients following a stroke or other central neurological injury regain control of a hand or forearm.
Donors may designate their support to any Kadlec department.
