Kadlec Foundation celebrates philanthropists at annual event:
over $72,000 raised for mammography services at Kadlec
Richland, Wash. – On November 3, some of our community’s most generous individuals and businesses gathered together to celebrate philanthropy at Kadlec. The annual event, Celebration of Philanthropy, is hosted by Kadlec Foundation to recognize charitable individuals and business members of our community who give generously of their time and make impactful investments towards programs and services that benefit patients at Kadlec Regional Medical Center.
This year’s recognized philanthropists are:
- Volunteer of the Year Award – Jane Powers
- Physician Philanthropist Award – Columbia Basin Imaging PC, accepted by Sean Koskinen, MD
- Sustaining Philanthropist Award – Sam and Mary Volpentest
- Employee Philanthropist Award - Dave Pearson
- Philanthropist of the Year Award –Garrett Electric Employees, accepted by Mary Rosen
A highlight of the evening was the call for donations towards mammography services at Kadlec. Generous attendees donated over $72,000 towards breast imaging technology and mammograms for patients in our community who could otherwise not afford to have the important and potentially life-saving screenings.
