Respiratory Testing

Respiratory Testing is a group of tests that measure how well the body moves gases from the air into the lungs and body. Kadlec has several tests we preform to measure you pulmonary function.

  • Asthma Testing and Education

    Asthma education is provided on one of Kadlec nationally certified asthma educators.
  • Bronchial Stress Test

    Bronchial stress testing is done to make a diagnosis of Exercise Induced Bronchospasm (EIB) or assess breathlessness in patients with a history of asthma symptoms in patients with suspected EIB.
  • Cardio Pulmonary Exercise Test

    To safely measure the performance of the heart and lungs under stress to help determine if the patients symptoms are due to a medical problem such as heart or lung disease or due to poor fitness.
  • Methacholine Challenge Testing

    The purpose of a methacholine challenge test is to determine the amount of airway irritability of a patient.
  • Pulmonary Function Testing

    Pulmonary Function Tests measure the amount of air in your lungs and the speed of the air moving through the airways.
  • Rest and Exercise Oximetry

    Testing for the evaluation of desaturation (SpO2 less than 88%) and evaluation of home oxygen need.
  • Six Minute Walk Test

    Six minute walk testing is done to assess functional exercise levels for daily activities. The object of this test is to walk for as far as possible for 6 minutes.
